We would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who makes RIVERfest possible, especially our sponsors, without whom, it would not be possible to put on such a high quality festival.

             Sponsors of RIVERfest 2007 were:

Maldon District Council

Essex County Council

Burnham Town Council

Fiveways Co-op

Moat Housing Association

Burnham Community Times

The cost of the festival increases each year and it becomes an ever more difficult task to make ends meet.  If you would like to help by sponsoring the next festival please contact us.

The festival also depends on a great deal of voluntary effort as well as the good will of its suppliers. We would particularly like to thank:

  • All our sponsors (again!)

  • Cavell Smith for hire of marquees

  • Rossco for the PA hire

  • Neon for the staging

  • Dengie Crops for loan of their trailer for the site office

  • Steve Krolzig and the rest of Maldon District Council's technical and leisure team

  • Bradwell Marina for loan of the generator

  • M&G Fire Protection for loan of fire extinguishers

  • Mike Browne (Graphical Images) and Staceprint for printing the handout

  • Tracy Saunders for organising the Art Trail

  • Harry Lymer for use of his fishing vessel Maverick

  • The River Rats and everyone who played on the boat

  • The Burnham Standard

  • The Essex Chronicle

  • Burnham Community Times

  • Saint FM

  • Southminster Army Cadets

  • Dengie Hundred Motorcycle Club

  • Essex Police

  • The first aiders

  • One Great Eastern

  • The Anchor Hotel

  • The caterers over the festival weekend

  • All the musicians who played at the festival

  • Tim Aves, Nick Skeens, Paul and Jackie Lester, Penfold, Shane Saunders and all the other people  who worked so hard to make it happen

  • The organisers' very indulgent families

  • And, of course, all the people who came along and made it such a great festival!
